Bike Race

This isn’t the first time he’s done this race.  But it is the first time he did it by himself.  Last year his dad did it with him.

This isn’t the real finish to the race.  They were testing the timing devices that they mount on the bikes.  I just thought I’d get a shot of him “crossing the finish line” just in case I didn’t get a good shot of it later 😉 .

He doesn’t even look nervous!  Must be too early in the morning.

What’s he trying to say?  “Help! I need water!”???  Or, “This is a piece of cake!”???

Home stretch…that’s him on the right.

And that’s a wrap!

I was so proud of him!  It’s not often that a teenager would give up his precious Saturday morning sleeping-in time to get up and go do anything…much less bike for 20 miles!
