Asparagus quiche…nobody gagged! They all said it was tolerable…high compliments indeed! Not bad for how many vegetables I crammed into it.
Just a weird thing…I juiced kale the other day and wondered what I might do with that pulp. So I dried it in the dehydrator, ground it up into a fine powder and threw it into this pie crust. That and a whole pound of asparagus in this quiche…not too shabby! Eggs and cheese…how could you really go wrong?! (Okay, okay, I know that whole process sounded a little nuts, but it really wasn’t as bad as it sounded…that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!)
